It's been a little over 24 hours since I officially re-entered "The Real World" (not the reality show, the real thing). Every year is amuses me how there really is this need for an adjustment period from Camp World into Real World because they are truly two very different worlds with different rules, behavior expectations, and schedules. So as I sit here and adjust back I have been spending a lot of time reflecting on this past summer and the things I learned along the way. I'm sad that summer is over, but happy to be back to the Real World. You can only live in the Camp World for so long before you start losing touch with what's happening in the Real World. There is just so much I missed when I didn't watch the news, listen to the radio, or spend any time online!
Tomorrow I start another semester of classes and official re-enter the Real World. I will leave behind the days of constant singing, acting crazy, dressing like maniac, and being more accepted the goofier I got. I will put on my normal people clothes, not sing as I eat my breakfast, go to classes, and put aside the Camp World... for now. Only 9 more months, though. Then I'm back!
