I will admit that in the past I have not been a huge fan of tea. I always buy those detox teas or nighttime teas, drink them once, and then never drink them again. I'm just not a huge fan of the taste. So when Teatulia contacted me to do a review I decided to do so for my boyfriend, who does enjoy tea. Little did I know that when the teas actually arrived and I decided to give them a go that Teatulia would completely change my mind on tea!
Teatulia White Tea. The website describes it as "Delicately rich with a hint of peach. Excellent choice for starting off a hot summer day or relaxing in the early evening. Also a perfect choice for those new to tea-- the sweet, subtle flavor is a lovely introduction to the world of tea." Since it was described as a perfect choice to those new to tea I decided to give it a go first. I was very, very surprised! Just like described it has a sweet and subtle flavor that doesn't overwhelm. I tried it both hot and iced and loved it both times, though I did notice more of the peach flavor when I tried it iced and prefer it that way, personally. It's hard to describe what makes Teatulia teas better than other teas I've tried... I guess the best way I could do it is to say it tasted more "real". And by that I mean I just tasted the tea- I didn't taste any extra flavoring or any sort of filler that some tea companies put in their tea bags to save a couple of bucks. It was just delicious tea- plain and simple!
Teatulia Green Tea. I have had Green Tea in the past but those don't even compare to Teatulia's Green Tea! What I noticed most about the Green Tea was how it seemed to open up my sinuses. In wintertime I tend to have more allergies and my asthma kicks up more but on the days I tried the Green Teas I found I didn't reach for my inhaler! It may be a coincidence, I can't be sure and I wouldn't recommend Green Tea as a treatment for a serious medical issue, but for me I find I generally feel better when I start the morning off with tea. Though I prefer the taste of the White Tea, because of how Teatulia's Green Tea made me feel that's what I will be buying when I make my next Teatulia pruchase!
Teatulia apart from other tea companies isn't just their teas (though they are delicious and have converted this once non-tea drinker) is their company practices and the fact that these teas are Premium 100% Oragnic! Teatulia's mission is to sustain the land and the people while producing top-quality tea. Their teas come to you fresh from the garden- with no long-term storage in a warehouse. They also do not add any extra flavor or additives like some other tea companies. Their teas allow you to enjoy only the original essence of pure nature! Teatulia production also helps to give back to and support the communities in Northern Bangladesh where their tea is grown threw several social programs which include poverty alleviation through cattle rearing, health and recreation for area youth, and literary programs for adults!
If it wasn't enough that Teatulia is organic (actually, they are more than organic!) and sustainable, they also use eco-friendly packaging! They use compostable containers, labels made from post-consumer paper, water based inks, and biodegradable tea bags! So from the tea bags to the containers- all of the Teatulia packaging can go straight into your compost and creates 0 extra waste! Talk about a company truly giving back!!
The Mini Canisters, which contain 6 teabags of Teatulia Tea would make a great stocking stuffer! Want to give Teatulia as a gift? What I Love: From the companies efforts in Northern Bangladesh to their eco-friendly packaging, to the the truly fresh and real flavors of their tea- I LOVE Teatulia! I am now a tea drinker thanks to them! The frugal side of me also very much appreciates the prices of their teas and other products.
