The Gift of Healthy Living- Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil Book

I discovered Virgin Coconut Oil last year and it drastically changed the product line-up found in my bathroom and the way I prepared food.  Virgin Coconut Oil is an amazing product with countless numbers of uses.  But, if you've been reading my blog since the beginning, you already know this.

Not everyone does, however, so the "Virgin Coconut Oil Book" (How it has changed people's lives and how it can change yours!) and a jar of Virgin Coconut Oil would make a wonderful gift for a lot of people in your life this Holiday Season!

Before even picking up the "Virgin Coconut Oil" book I knew a lot about Virgin Coconut Oil and it's many uses, but reading  more in depth about what it is, where it comes from, and how it can help your health in so many ways was wonderful.  I was especially interested in Chapter 6 "Virgin Coconut Oil and Thyroid Health" because I recently learned that someone in my life suffers from thyroid condition.  This knowledge I have learned from the book is definitely something I will be sharing with the person and hopefully helping them out a little!

Then in Chapter 7 "Skin Health and Virgin Coconut Oil" I learned something that I cannot believe I didn't discover this past summer doing my Sunscreen research- Coconut Oil can be used as a sunscreen/block.  When you combine a healthy diet using Virgin Coconut Oil and use Coconut Oil topically as a sunscreen/block you can keep your toxic, chemically loaded sunscreen/blocks at home!

The Tropical Tradition's "Virgin Coconut Oil" book covers many, many ways that Virgin Coconut Oil can help with your health- from diabetes to Alzheimer's to Cholesterol levels!  It even goes into how Virgin Coconut Oil can help keep the family pets healthy and happy!

The second half of the book contains my favorite part- The Recipes!  Four Cheese Sauce, Spanish Green Herb Sauce, Minestone Soup, Roasted Eggplant, Halibut Piccata, Lemon-Lime Coconut Flour Cookies, and Gluten Free Coconut Flour Brownies are some of the many, many delicious recipes that use coconut products  that are contained within the pages of the Virgin Coconut Oil Book from Tropical Traditions!  The cook and the health nut in your life will love you for giving them this book as a gift!

What I Love: The Tropical Traditions "Virgin Coconut Oil" book is extremely informative!  Even I learned many new things about this amazing product!  The book is also quite affordable so my frugal side loves it as well.  And, of course, I love Tropical Traditions in general so this just adds to that love!

What I Don't Love: Nada!!

Hello, I like all the books especially the ones on how bad vaccines are, but I think the most interesting read would be the Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation. Thanks for a great giveaway!

So many good/excellent book choices that happen to already be on my list of books to read...someday...maybe :) The one I want to read the most is probably the "Know Your Fats:
The Complete Primer for Understanding the Nutrition of Fats, Oils, and Cholesterol"
By Mary G. Enig, Ph.D book!
